BE BOLD

Brooke Wozniak
Director

CDTA Member (Stage Div. - Tap), ADAPT TTS Graduate (Tap & Jazz)

Miss Brooke has taught in various studios in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and from this she gained the life experience she felt necessary for her to be a studio owner.  She believes these new concepts will be invaluable to Prince Alberta and will help enhance your dance experience. Miss Brooke is a certified Tap and Jazz ADAPT instructor and an ADAPT Teacher Training Session Graduate (after completing the three year Dance Teacher Training Session).  She is certified with  her CDTA Membership in Tap (Stage Div.) and has successfully completed her Grade 8 Piano and Grade 6 Voice examinations (Royal Conservatory of Music).  She has had many students pursue careers in dance: CFL cheerleaders, cruise ship dancers/performers, performing in various theatres across Canada, and teaching dance all over Western Canada.  Brooke has received many choreography awards at various competitions, and has attended many workshops and conventions to keep current.  She has also been involved with Broadway North as a performer and/or choreographer for many musicals.  Watching students grow from childhood to adulthood is something Miss Brooke finds extremely rewarding, and she takes great pride in knowing she helped students become who they are today.

Upon her return, she is so excited to be back at Bold as a teacher, after dancing with us in our first year. Miss Rachel’s favourite types of dance are ballet and lyrical although she loves them all! She has received numerous awards and scholarships for her dancing and still holds the Most Technical Dancer and Outstanding Ballet at CDTA Nationals in Toronto. She can’t wait for the year to start and is looking forward to the Bold Summer Intensive, where she will be teaching! Welcome back, Miss Rachel!

Halie Chartier

RTS RAD

Miss Halie grew up dancing, and is trained in many styles including: ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop and musical theatre.  She enjoyed her time as a student competing in all these styles and completing her Jazz (ADAPT), Tap (CDTA), and Ballet (RAD) exams over the years.  Although she loved all styles of dance, as she got older she found her passion in ballet.  After completing her Advanced 1 ballet exam, she decided to further her dance education and pursue teaching.

Miss Halie is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dance's Certification in Ballet Teaching Studies program.  The program provided a wealth of knowledge she is able to apply to her classes.  She has successfully entered many students into a variety of levels of ballet exams.  She has also choreographed competitive, as well as show pieces, for groups and soloists.  Her love of dance and passion for teaching show in every class she teaches.  Miss Halie hopes all of her students are able to grow as dancers in her classes in a fun and welcoming environment.
